Our volunteers are incredible! Working with our riders is such a rewarding experience and we greatly value all of the mentorship and support that you provide to each unique individual you work with. While your relationship with your rider is incredibly rewarding, it can have moments of great stress as well: learning things about your rider’s life that are tough to hear, dealing with frustrating days with little to no progress, behavioral outbursts, etc.

Our interns Lauren, Addison, and Katelyn would like to help you find new strategies for shouldering the weight that comes with supporting individuals who are experiencing trauma.
