Close to 50% of all our participants require some type of financial assistance in order to participate (or partake) in our diverse programs.


Hearts & Horses has been serving people with disabilities in Northern Colorado since 1997 thanks to a wonderful herd of 28 horses.


In order to keep service affordable Hearts & Horses underwrites 72% of what it costs to run the program.


As a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization, Hearts & Horses would simply not exist without community support.

Pony Up! Horse Fund

Over the course of a year, the cost of feed, supplements, shavings, horseshoes and veterinary care costs $5,000 per horse. Your donation ensures that our herd gets the top-notch care that they deserve.


Rider Scholarships

50% of our participants require some financial assistance to receive services at Hearts & Horses. By donating to this fund, you enable Hearts & Horses to never turn a rider away due to an inability to pay.


Lucky Hearts Gala

The Hearts & Horses Lucky Hearts Casino Night Gala is a night of fun and exciting casino action with Las Vegas-style gaming tables such as craps, roulette, poker, blackjack and a prize wheel with lots of fun prizes.

We are always looking for supplies to keep ourselves well stocked. We are looking for both volunteer/office supplies and barn/tack supplies. Please take a look at what we need and consider donating an item.


Tack Shoppe

The Hearts & Horses Tack Shoppe, located in the old stone building, is a place for H&H community members, as well as visitors, to donate and purchase used riding equipment and clothing.
