November 30, 2023 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

Presenter: Hannah Eppley -MSW Field Education Coordinator (CSU)

Hannah Eppley joined the CSU School of Social Work staff in January 2020. She received both her BSW and MSW degrees from Colorado State University. While in school, Hannah spent time as both a mentor and research assistant for the Campus Corps (now Campus Connections) program, and she conducted her graduate research in Poudre School District evaluating the RtI (Response to Intervention) Model.

After graduating with her MSW, Hannah spent time working for a local non-profit agency. During her time with this agency, Hannah provided coaching and advocacy services to youth and families who were involved in the child welfare system. She also spent time as a program director, supervising a team of Family Advocates, supporting the growing Parent Café program, and providing social work supervision for BSW and MSW interns. Hannah then transitioned to working in child welfare in Larimer County with the Family Partnerships Unit. During her years in child welfare, Hannah provided intensive, in-home, case management services to youth and their families who were involved in juvenile delinquency court. The focus of this work included: advocacy, trauma-informed care, adolescent resilience, treatment planning, and collaboration with community resources. Finally, during her time at DHS, Hannah served on the Juvenile Gun Safety task force in Larimer County to address concerns related to juvenile gun violence and bolster community safety.
