CHANGING LEADS

The Changing Leads Program is designed to help youth-at-risk find friendship, develop trust and form a deep connection through partnering with a horse. The program focuses on teaching transferable skills to enhance personal, school, family, and community relationships through Equine Facilitated Learning.

  • Self-respect and confidence
  • Accountability
  • Conflict resolution
  • Relationship building

Who can we help? Individuals, families and groups can experience the benefits of Equine Facilitated Learning to address issues including:

  • Depression
  • Trauma
  • Anger management
  • Substance abuse
  • Domestic violence
  • Attachment disorders
  • Grief and loss

Scholarships:

Depending on scholarship funds available, we provide partial scholarships available to those who have demonstrated need. Please review the scholarship policies and contact Michele Kane with further questions. Michele@heartsandhorses.org
